¿Cómo llegar a Florián, Santander?

Florián se encuentra ubicado en el departamento de Santander, Colombia, a 195 km desde Bogotá y 275 km desde Bucaramanga. Lugar rico en fuentes hídricas, biodiversidad y exuberantes atractivos naturales, siendo un excelente destino para los amantes de la naturaleza ¡Un paraíso para el ecoturismo!

¿Cómo llegar desde Bogotá?

Desde Bogotá se toma la ruta que pasa por Cajicá, Zipaquirá, Ubaté, Susa, Chiquinquirá hasta llegar a Puente Nacional, son aproximadamente 150 km de distancia o dos horas y media en tiempo. De ahí se continúa al pueblo Jesús María, hay que pasar por el parque principal de Puente Nacional para encontrar la vía que conduce al mencionado pueblo, son 18 km o una hora de recorrido. Ya allí, en Jesús María, son 48 km para llegar a nuestro destino “Florián”. Se demorarán una hora y media de recorrido, recuerden que la vía es destapada en este último trayecto, pero eso no es desalentador al momento de llegar y observar tan imponente cascada enmarcada en montañas y el cielo santandereano.

Si necesita transporte público para llegar a Florián lo puede encontrar con la empresa Reina y Copetran que lo acerca a Puente Nacional por un valor de COP $30.000 a 40.000 y desde allí sale una ruta en camioneta para llegar a Florián por un valor aproximado de COP $25.000 en los siguientes horarios (6 a.m. – 12 p.m.- 3 p.m.)  

¿Cómo llegar desde Bucaramanga?

Desde Bucaramanga se toma la vía Bogotá hasta llegar al municipio de Puente Nacional, seguidamente al pueblo llamado Jesús María y finalmente encontrará Florián. Son aproximadamente 275 km de distancia, ocho horas en tiempo, y los últimos 48 km son por vía destapada.

Para viajar en transporte público desde Bucaramanga se toma una ruta que llegue a Barbosa, las rutas son frecuentes pues muchas empresas viajan a ese destino y tiene un valor de COP $40.000, y allí a través de la ruta Ricaurte que viaja en los siguientes horarios (5 a.m.- 7 a.m.- 9 a.m.- 1 pm – 4 p.m.) se llega a Florián por un valor de COP $18.000. También la empresa Trasander realiza este recorrido en los horarios (6 p.m.- 3 p.m.) con un costo de COP$18.000.

¿Qué hacer en Florián, Santander?

Las ventanas del Tizquisoque

Florián, Santander “La ciudad de las ventanas abiertas” cuenta con innumerables atractivos naturales entre los cuales se encuentran: Charco azul, Cerro de los venados, Chiconal, Brazuelos, Charco Paila y su principal atractivo Las Ventanas de Tizquisoque, lugar que se roba definitivamente el protagonismo.

El recorrido para llegar a Florián también es acompañado por la quebrada Las Ventas, que es la quebrada que forma tan impresionante cascada Santandereana y que rompe la montaña para formar una asombrosa cueva que termina en una ventana de donde se observa el municipio y los paisajes de la región y la cual desemboca en una caída libre de 300 m. Su caída se divide en tres partes lo que hace que hace que sea única y majestuosa.

Llegar a las ventanas del Tizquisoque es muy fácil pues están ubicadas unos 500 m antes de llegar al casco urbano del municipio. Su entrada está señalizada por una puerta construida en piedra con el nombre del lugar. El siguiente paso es descender una serie de escaleras para seguidamente cruzar un puente colgante y finalmente ascender a la entrada de la cueva de Tizquisoque que fue habitada por los indígenas con este mismo nombre “Tizquisoques” y dotada con un toque de misterio debido a que esta cueva era un lugar sagrado para ellos y cuenta con múltiples historias. La entrada, además, está custodiada por una escultura de un dinosaurio rex hecha en piedra, pero eso no es nada impresionante pues la cueva es bella por su oscuridad, humedad y estalagmitas y estalactitas que la adornan. Dentro de ella también existe un pequeño puente colgante para llegar a la ventana de donde se observa el municipio y los paisajes típicos de la región. Pero estando allí hay que tener precaución y seguir la señalizaciones e indicaciones para evitar cualquier tipo de accidente. ¡Es un lugar increíble al que solo puede llegar caminando y disfrutar del aire libre!  

También puede complementar esta visita descendiendo a “Charco azul” lugar destino de la caída de agua de la cascada Tizquisoque. En este legar sentirá la brisa fresca del agua al caer y su imponencia, definitivamente disfrutar de la caminata a través de sus árboles hasta llegar y darse un baño en sus aguas es la mejor experiencia. Todo esto es aún mejor si realiza el recorrido guiado por los locales, pues son ellos quienes conocen las historias detrás de cada lugar y brindan lo mejor para que su viaje sea un éxito.

Las Gemelas

Esta hermosa cascada tiene 2 caídas de agua, una a 50 metros de la otra en medio de la hermosa naturaleza que lo rodea. La primera cascada tiene la caída más alta mientras que la segunda es más baja, pero cuenta con un pozo que le permitirá descansar.

Se encuentran a 1 hora y media caminando desde el pueblo de Florián, en la vía que conduce al municipio de La Belleza, detrás del Cerro El Venado. Esta cascada también es reconocida como La Chorrera allí podrán disfrutar de un momento de tranquilidad y naturaleza perfecto para ir a aventurar.

Pico de La Guara

Ubicado en La Peña de Tizquisoque con una altura aproximada de 1990 m.s.n.m. a 4 Km del casco urbano o 40 minutos a pie. Es un sitio majestuoso que deja ver la inmensidad de nuestro ecosistema. Siendo un lugar que genera gran adrenalina a visitantes y foráneos por gran altura, es especial para aquellas personas a las que les gusta realizar caminatas al aire libre.

La Villa Olímpica

La Villa Olímpica es una de las obras cumbres que han hecho de este municipio. Sin lugar a dudas un centro de turismo a nivel departamental. Cuenta con una cancha de fútbol con todos los reglamentos y normas exigidas por Coldeportes y está dotada de graderías, instalaciones eléctricas y drenajes, cuenta también con dos polideportivos que permiten a todos sus pobladores gozar de una sana diversión. Sumado a lo anterior, allí se puede encontrar una piscina municipal con capacidad para 300 personas, tiende a ser semi olímpica y ofrece a los turistas y a los hijos de la región un amplio bar, jacuzzi y otros servicios. Sus horarios de atención son: de miércoles a lunes de 9:30 a.m. a 5:00 p.m.

How to get to Florian, Santander?

Florián is located in the department of Santander, Colombia, 195 km from Bogotá and 275 km from Bucaramanga. It is a place rich in water sources, biodiversity and lush natural attractions, being an excellent destination for nature lovers. It is a paradise for ecotourism!

How to get from Bogotá?

The windows of Tisquizoque

Florián, Santander "The city of open windows" has different natural attractions such as: Charco azul, Cerro de los venados, Chiconal, Brazuelos, Charco Paila and its main attraction Las Ventanas de Tisquizoque, place with greater prominence.

The route to get to Florian is also accompanied by the Las Ventas ravine, which is the ravine that forms an impressive waterfall Santandereana and breaks the mountain to form an amazing cave that ends in a window from where the municipality is observed, the landscapes of the region and which ends in a free fall of 300 m. Its fall is divided into three parts which makes it unique and majestic.

Getting to the windows of Tisquizoque is very easy; these are located about 500 m before reaching the urban area of the municipality. Its entrance is signposted by a door built in stone with the name of the place. The next step is to descend a series of stairs. and then cross a suspension bridge and finally ascend to the entrance of the cave of Tisquizoque that was inhabited by the natives with the same name "Izqui Soques'' and endowed with a touch of mystery because this cave was a sacred place for them and has multiple stories. The entrance is also guarded by a sculpture of a dinosaur rex made of stone, but that is not at all impressive because the cave is beautiful for its darkness, humidity and stalagmites and stalactites that adorn it. Inside it there is also a small suspension bridge to reach the window where you can see the municipality and the typical landscapes of the region. When you are there you must be careful and follow signs and indications to avoid any kind of accident. ¡ It is an amazing place that can only be reached by walking and enjoying the outdoors! 

You can also complement this visit by descending to the "Blue Puddle" destination of the waterfall Tisquizoque. In this place you will feel the cool breeze of the water as it falls and it's imposing. Definitely enjoy the walk through the trees and taking a swim in its waters is the best experience. Las Gemelas

This beautiful waterfall has 2 waterfalls, one 50 meters from the other in the middle of the beautiful nature that surrounds it. The first waterfall has the highest fall while the second is lower, but has a well that will allow you to rest.

This place is located 1 hour and a half walking from the town of Florián, on the road that leads to the municipality of La Belleza, behind the Cerro El Venado. This waterfall is also recognized as La Chorrera, where you can enjoy a moment of tranquility and nature perfect for adventure.

In addition, there you can find a municipal swimming pool (semi-Olympic)  with capacity for 300 people. It offers to all tourists and children of the region a large bar, jacuzzi and other services.
